Many books are based on personal experience, opinions, as well as research. Due to this, many books may have information or "flaws" that do not fit with others way of thinking. Heck, you can easily look at books on birds that are 10+ years old and see how much aviculture and how everyones opinions have changed over the years!
IMO, forget about the flaws! Get the book, do your own research, and base *YOUR* opinions on what you learn and read! But most importantly, keep an open mind! Be willing to change your opinion if you find new information that may be better than what you already have.
