i feed him 4-3 times aday, usually after the crop is empty...i feed him with sryenge abour 15 ml as the breeder tell me

however,i notice, the baby is not in the good appetite in the morning, he will stop at 5 ml, hoever, i will slowly makehim swallow to 10 ml, when he is ompty again, then i feed him

my question is, why is his appetite are so bad in the morning?

It could be that he is wanting to start weaning. I am not sure what age that this happens at for ringnecks but maybe a member who is more experienced could give some advice.

Maybe try offering him some solid foods. He might be getting hungary and ingesting some of the bedding which may be why the crop feels tight after only 13 mls (knew chickens that did this). Just a thought. I don't know how much baby IRNs should be eating, sorry I couldn't answer your question.

No need to be rude, I was merely suggesting since all of the breeders I have EVER talked to recommend putting some solid food in the brooder for the babies at 4 weeks. (MY own breeder of the bird I just got had solids in there at 4 weeks and he's a conure )So I was not making things up, he's big enough to where he might start exploring (even with all the pins) give him something to do between feedings, you might be surprised. Here are some websites for your viewing/learning pleasure

Parrots: indian ringneck, feeding baby birds, congratulations on your new baby

Check out the weaning section on this next one, they say let them start trying solid food at 4 weeks! (I know it's a lovebird website)
Flying Gems Aviary - Handfeeding baby lovies

From THIS FORUM! Read the first post by birdsnreps offers a MACAW solid food at 3 weeks! This is too easy!
Help weaning my ringneck

Parrots: 5 week old indian ringneck, indian ringneck, grated apple

BTW I have heard (sorry not my personal experience) that IRN's are very stubborn when it comes to handfeeding (might explain his lack of appetitie). Make sure you don't bend his beak when trying to get more formula in. Just be sure that the crop is not too full and you will be alright. I know some babies at this age are only eating 13mls, all depends on your individual bird and how big their crop is. And start offering some soft food!

Sometimes "thanks a lot pal" is used as a sarcastic tone when you are not really thankful (the 'pal' on the end is what made me think that it was sarcastic). At least in America it is this way. Sorry, I forget not everyone on this board has English as their first language. Was just a misunderstanding. Good luck with your birdie and more pics please

thanks, its actually is pure misunderstanding...
i will try to avoid using it...

i will take more pic tommorow...oya, i was thinking, may be he have little appetite because of the formula is too cold. i used 10 ml syringe, and after complete the 1st tube(10 ml) he start to refuse to eat...today i try floating the bowl in a hot water to keep the temperature while im feeding the 1st 10 ml. the formula is also made a little thin. everynite, i will make it little thin as the baby is completely sleeping and it migh bi a little easier for the sleeping baby to digest...it is to ensure the corp empty inthe morning...
but guest what, he eats 15 ml just now and still want more...the corp is full already, so i stop at 15...thanks alot ya
