Wink my Benny (IRN) then and now pictures.

When I first got him, he was around 7 or 9 months old.

last September

finally starting to get his ring!

He's a real goof. He likes to hang on the curtains upside down, or sideways.. and he usually sleeps clinging to the back of the curtains.

Talking

I love IRN. He is beautiful. I have a female who is 5 months old and she also hangs upside down and sometimes I catch her even taking a snooze that way.

I think IRN's are such beautiful birds.

How old is Benny? I know that some people say that IRN's are not usually cuddly, but I know mine is. It just takes time and patience. How long have you had Benny?

He's almost 3 I think.. and I've had him since 7 months old.. He was not tame or handfed.. I have heard they (ringnecks )are notoriously not tame unless you handle them daily. I don't mind him this way, don't worry

Well, from your list it seems you are quite busy! In one of the pictures wit the cockatiel, Benny looks really relaxed and content!

Just wait...mine will take the chips out of my mouth (not a behavior I meant to encourage). They live outside now, so they are a little less cuddly, but it comes back quickly when I spend a lot of time with them. Once Benny has you well trained he won't forget

Wow, he is gorgeous. You really plumped him up, great job. You can tell he gets a really good diet. The colour alone.
