Dates anyone?
It is the Succoth Holiday when we eat out of doors. It is a celebration of Thanksgiving, while we partake our meals out of doors, my birds reap the abundance of the season. Living in Israel, I am fortunate to have all the fresh fruits all year round. Here are some photos taken today of the branch of Yellow dates my husband put in the aviary for the birds to enjoy. There are different varieties of dates which grow in Israel.

Kathy just wash them with water, usually store bought have something sprayed on them. My favourite date byproduct is "SILAN" I use it instead of honey and in baking as well. Did you celebrate Ider Fiter in a grand way, here it is with fireworks etc.? I hope so. here are a few more pictures for ya'all
