They are back once again

Yesterday afternoon after spending a day at the hospital getting injections in my leg for nerve damage, I went upstairs to relax a bit and heard such a racket. My leg being asleep and numb, I couldn't get up quick enough to get the camera, but I did in the end after the male had flown away after munching on the apple tree, and I captured a qick pic of the female siting atop one of the avocado trees in our yard. The three birds have been regular visitors for almost three years now. I am uploading just a few seconds that I managed to get when I switched to video mode just before she flew off.

Rebecca, I find it interesting that they are sitting in the avocado tree. I know avocado is on the no-no list here. Do birds in the wild eat them?

Hi there Kathy, hope all is well, the avocado is a definite no no for any bird to eat. As a matter of fact they do not even come near the avocado blooms before they turn into avocados . The birds are just sitting atop the avocado tree but devouring the apples on the apple tree. So no to avocados for Tawheed or any other bird . Believe me whatever the birds of the wild eat, your birds will take to(IRNs), you just have to be observant of the birds of the wild if you have the chance to do any birdwatching.
