She is beautiful!!! Although she's definitely a little startled - give her some time to settle into her new home. Are you going to put some toys in her cage for her??? Its too barren! Is that the cage you picked her up in? Also looks like it needs a good cleaning. Im not trying to nitpick, just things I noticed from the video

That was taken at the pet store. I visited her for the past couple of days. She is in the aviary with the other birds and they are all well acquainted now, squaking at each other in IRN talk, eating together and the other birds even allowed her to perch for the night before they did.

happy to hear that! bet she's happy to be out of the pet store, lucky birdie! I'd love to see a video of your aviary that sounds wonderful.

She is gorgeous. I wasn't able to see all of the video, though. I have been having a terrible time lately with YouTube videos stopping and refusing to play. But I was able to see how pretty she is. Congratulations.

The cage she was in is filthy, from the shop. I am surprised she was put right in with other birds with no quarentine! I worry what the others birds might have been exposed to.

So this is a public board. I can post on any thread I want. I was not talking to. I was talking to the others that posted here. I wasn't contacting you, personally. Which is how I asked you not to contact me, personally.
I would like to apologize to others here for this mishap.

You do realise most "quarantines" are somewhat of a myth right? Unless you have a separate area in your home (or business if a breeder), with a completely different air source, it really is not a quarantine. Most homes, including mine are not set up that way.

And while I agree, that the cage at the pet store could have been kept cleaner, that should not take away from a congratulations that Rewki has found a very pretty new ringneck.

Furthermore, if two members are having problems, I would strongly suggest to not post on each others threads in order to avoid an further problems.

I believe Rewki has stayed away from your threads, perhaps you could extend her the same courtesy.

If all else fails there is an ignore button in the userCP area that you can use so that the person's posts will not read out on any thread for you.

With all that being said Congratulations on your Ringneck!
