My happy Purplish Backed Jay news

This is my first time posting in this section. I have had a purplish backed jay for 4 years now and have looked for a mate for him for years. I finally found one along with another pair last February. It took months for them to ship. I am now ready to introduce them to the aviary this afternoon. I am so excited that my Muncy will not longer be a lonely little boy.

Cool! I've never seen one. Would love to see photos of them!

I don't know how to post pictures here and I don't know if it is OK to post my website here. If it is OK, let me know.

I am very interested in seeing your birds too!

UpLoading Photos - my way ...
1)When you're in the Reply 'box' scroll down to the next section called Additional Options - click Manage Attachments - browse into your files - open/upload - click out - see the uploaded images listed. They'll be at the bottom of your post, in a smaller format than (2).
2) Use the Album feature on the blue bar above - upload photos - check which section you want to post them in & describe them - browse - open/upload - copy IMG info at the bottom of the photo & paste it into the thread as you type.

Hope you could follow that - there are other ways I'm sure - that's how I do it.

Muncy is spectacular - can you tell us more about him?
Does he talk?
What's his voice like?
Is he tame & are the new birds both female & if not how will that work out??
What does the female look like?
How many Jays are you hoping to have? - will the offspring be for sale or is this a hobby for you?
How does he relate to other birds - do you have other types?

Just a few questions in case you forgot to tell us everything.
