nice bird there!!!

never had a pheasant as a pet but i work at a local rescue place sometimes. and about 2 years ago i helped a Ring necked pheasant back from a broken wing...pheasant are cool birds!!!

Wow they are nice! I havent owned one but we get pheasant coucal's in our yard sometimes.

OMG I saw one in indonesian zoo they are more like chicken family.

Chickens and pheasants are in fact in the same family, which is sometimes referred to as the pheasant family, though that's not the scientific name, I've heard that some consider chickens to be pheasants because of this.
Golden pheasants are definitely beautiful. The closest thing I've had are japanese quail, which are not nearly as beautiful, but their eggs sure do taste good.

Beautiful bird! We have a wild pheasant that lives our backyard. His name is Mooney :) Darwin HATES him. He starts screaming and poor Mooney runs away like there is a predator around. But he is so much fun to watch!
