we started harness training

today was the first time i tried to put a harness on, quite successfully i might add she was just PERFECT!!! she didnt fuss or argue with me, she just sat there and patiently let me put the harness on her, im so proud!! after i got it on, she didnt even peck at it or try to get it off, she was so good!!

she had just taken a shower with us, when shes happy, she spreads out her wings afterward :) you can see all her flight feathers growing back in too. her feathers are like silk!! SOOO soft and gorgeous, and she smells so clean and nice!!

too bad i didnt take the cam with us on our outing today :( she was a good girl and patiently waited with me in the car while hubby went grocery shopping :) shes a perfect little birdie!!

Ohhhhhhhh Sweetpea is so gorgeous!! Im sure she knows it too! Much better behaved than matches in her harness...you would think its attacking her the way she carries on

WOW she is stunning!! Congrats on the harness! I've found that the hardest part is making them not pick at it! lol

Great job. I might be mistaken, but the harness looks a little twisted in the back in the photo. I had trouble with that at first and also getting all the wing feathers through.

You'll be glad to have the right fit for ease in getting the harness on, comfort, and safety.
