Smile Help with my Gouldian!

Hello,

I'm new to Gouldians, and I bought an uncolored one, now he or she has almost completly colored out. I think it's an Orange Head, Lilac Breast male, but I'm not sure. What do you think?

I have a hard time seeing if it is red or orange on the head, so I can't tell there. The light purple and the thinness of the black stripe on the head that we can see, along with the small ammount of blue there lead me to believe it is female.

I have photos of both red headed females and orange males on my site you can compare to.

this bird is most defantly a hen. All hens have the lilac purple chest, and the males have a deep purple chest, this is how the sexes are told apart. By the photo, it i an orange headed gouldian, the most uncommon out of the three head colours, but it may turn out to be a red head, as i cant really tell in that particular photo, as it has a bit of glare

Zac,
