2 new fids

So, I was contacted by a girl that needed to rehome her 2 parakeets. She's going to college and just had no time. They are adorable. One is solid yellow and one is white with blue under his wings and on his neck. Echo is yellow and looks like an Easter Peep. Skim is white.
I don't know a lot about parakeets. They are being fed parakeet seed mix.
My question is should I feed pellets and fruits and veggies like my bigger fids?
They are much smaller than the colored parakeets I've seen. I'll get pics tomorrow.

Are these budgies or some other sort of parakeet? I assume budgies as that's what most people mean when they are speaking about 'parakeets'....

Yes, they should have a variety of foods just like your other birds! On average, birds live 3 times longer on a healthier diet than on a bad diet.
