MY New Peafowl!!

Ok , they survived the night and I was scared. Our barn is not the close - up type and the wind was crazy. I was up and down looking out the window. i was so afraid the top was going to blow off. I attached it good but in the morning it was loose. hubby helped me fix it until we get the right size top. Gah! They looked frightened a bit but seem to have settled with the quiet day today. I couldnt wait to get home from work to see they were safe. So it was dark again when we get home from work ...I took some camera pics but they will look better in the sunshine once they can be free of the temporary enclosure.
The male has a few train feathers and is very big Im told for only one year old. She is six months old. They are friggin huge.

awww i love peafowl when i volunteered at the science center near my college we had a peacock that was by himself because his hen had been caught by a fox and all he had to hang out with were guineas so he thought he was a guinea and would come right up to us when we went out the back door to feed them and he was absolutely gorgeous
