White Cheeked Bulbul Sex ?
Please help me... How could i know the sex of White Cheeked Bulbul ??? ![]() ![]() Thanks ![]()

from what I hear bubuls can be notoriously hard to sex, they aren't sexually dimorphic, and even same sex pairs aren't unusual, for example two females may pair up, and lay eggs (infertile of course) and sit on them together, leaving you waiting in vain for them to hatch not knowing both birds are female. As the person above said, DNA sexing is the way to go.

Lori~D ,, asurademon Thank u a lot 4 ur replies. but even there isn't any difference in their behaviours like singing, dancing, preparing the nest or other difference in darkness of tail or in their crest or body size ? ![]()

All I've heard is that they aren't sexually dimorphic, and males and females tend to behave the same. In some species of bulbul the females tend to be smaller, but I don't know if that's the case with the white cheeked, what I've heard about them makes me suspect not.
