Funny, the chat room functioned very well and very smoothly without mods until one person decided to upset the apple cart.

Now we need moderators to oversee us? And possibly the one who insulted everyone?

I hope that you reconsider.

Doesn't really matter who it was, but the simple fact is people have abused it and till I feel I can live without worying about headaches out of my control its offline indefinitely. I am not going to waiver on this position.

Keev, I understand your desire for calm and control in there.

But it was one of your mods that went out of line... and the mod status remains.

Is that who you plan to have moderate chats?

That will not be the case, the chat will be overhauled with strict rules and guidelines but I do not see this coming back online for sometime and not gonna worry about it. Our moderating team will be growing shortly each will have specific forums to manage and help facilitate. It is my agenda to stop any and all birdboard abuse in its steps where ever it lies. And restore order and quality growth of the site. People have taken advantage of my generosity and simply said no more mr. nice guy. Play by the rules or go home as people can't seem to stay civil.

ITS A BIRD SITE FOR GOSH SAKE! THERE IS NO REASON FOR THIS STUFF!

I didnt like the idea of Moderated chat but, it was way better then NO chat at all.. Your forum though of Course Keev and I guess it must be a headache for you!
