pop up register window may turn off people

I think that maybe that pop up window may turn away people from viewing the site. Usually people want to browse the forums and topics to see if a site is worth joining. I fear that that popup window may get so annoying that people won't even bother.

just my 2 cents.

RE: The pop-up window

Not only that…I also notice that for me, the pop-up ad doesn't work. All I get is an additional window full of HTML code. :?

Sorry

DOH! I meant to take that out awhile back. It's gone now. Thanks for the reminder :-)

I agree.

It is annoying having the registration pop up window open each time I open a new window. Especially since I've already registered.

Hopefully the administrator will fix this, so that only unregistered visitors will see them.

It seems like a great forum otherwise.

It has been gone for a full day now. If you are still seeing it then you may have an old version of the page.

Kevin,

If you have an old version of the page then what should you do? Dump cookies and reboot?

In IE : Tools-->Internet Options-->Delete Files

You don't have to delete all offline content however. Then reboot.
