Anyone having problems viewing / posting to the site anyone?

In the last week our datacenter techs / admins placed a firewall on all the servers to prevent hacking attempts, brute force attacks, and numerous other bad things that might compromise the network, the site, and your personal information. While this is a good thing for precautionary measures
it seems that without optimal configuration settings some user / visitors are tripping the firewall and in turn its blocking IP addresses.

If you are having issues please contact me so we can configure this script to its optimal settings so it doesn't block anyone it shouldn't without reason.

Every once in a while I can't get on the board at all, it will say forbidden access! Then I can check a little later and log in fine. This started about a week ago I guess.

Thanks Irish, about the same time it was installed... Just wasn't aware of it.

I had the same problem also.... figured you were updating and not letting anyone on till all updates were complete. Also still having problems with the quick post. I have to hit reply and than post.

thank you the more people that can comment on when or what they were doing when it happens helps me narrow down whats tripping the firewall trap

I had the same problem a few days ago. I couldn't get on the site, it said forbiden access. I tried several times and gave up but got on the next day.

I think I got it settled... So hopefully I got the issue handled but will wait and see if any more issues arise.

i have problems when i hit the post quick reply button it doesnt go i end up having to go advanced and do it that way... ive actually been having this problem for quite some time
