"My Bird is A Honor Student at BirdBoard"

I'm surprised no one else mentioned this one. Unless they've changed the rules in the years after I graduated high school, that should say "My Bird is An Honor Student at BirdBoard."

And I don't have a parrot to test this theory, but could it be that "a honor" is easier for a bird to say than "an honor," or is it just a mistake? If someone could upload a file of her bird saying "a honor," I'd be glad to forget all about it.

Yes I noticed that. It really bothers me when news reporters do the same thing - they say "hang" instead of "hung' and "a" when it should be "an" before a word that begins with a vowel. But the thing with this is probably that Honor is spelt with a H as the first letter, but it is actually silent - hence Onour is how it is pronounced. Maybe it is just because it is spelt with a "h" at the begining of the word???? Not picking on anybody, just an observation that's all.

Talking

Well, whatever the reason, it's one of those things that really bugs me.

Ignorance, apathy, and bad grammar. Even if I could get rid of the first two, the third would always be around.
