trouble accessing the site

Every so often, like maybe every 7-14 days, I have serious trouble accessing the site. I get a an error page instead. In the past, I have always assumed that the site was experiencing down time, but now I'm not so sure.

This last time, late yesterday morning to today, lasted about 24 hours. When I came back, when I could get back in, there were pages and pages of new posts... is it fair to draw the conclusion that I am the only one experiencing these outages?

This has happened 4 or 5 times in the past 2 or 3 months.

I tried deleting my cookies, checking my browser settings, deleting temp files, and even using a different browser... still no access. In the end, I just have to wait it out... it eventually comes back up for me.

Is this an issue from my end, or from BB's end? It's almost like problems I've had in the past with exceeding bandwidth... but that can't be it, can it?

Exceeding BW? I have unlimited Bandwidth so it cant be that....

I didn't think so, it was just the first thing that popped into my head.

Has the site experienced downtime lately? Like, yesterday?

Been trying to figure out what it could be.. talked to my hosting company and they haven't seen any problems unless one of my scripts went hog wild and slowed the server down....

Later this month we are moving the site to a faster server that will speed up the site signifigantly...

I think it might have been spyware.

I've kind of been neglecting my spyware maintenance lately. I had trouble again today, and after running adaware, I was able to reaccess the site.

So if anyone else ever has similar problems, scan for spyware!

tonight I was working on the server alittle and might have been alittle rough... In a couple of days we will have a new dedicated server for birdboard .... Won't have to share it with any other sites.... So it should run alot faster and smooth.
