How to do live uploads while on location in South America

OK, I guess everyone knows I will be visiting two of the most important macaw research projects in the world. Tambopata in Peru and the Hyacinth Macaw Project in Brazil. I want to do some kind of ongoing blog or video upload and I am hoping someone here has the technical knowledge to tell me what I need. I will have a Kodak DX7590 digital camera that uses SD cards and a card reader with a USB cord so I can use these in internet cafes which are widespread in Peru and Brazil.

I will also have a new HDD Panasonic camcorder for shooting the DVD but I won't have the laptop so won't be able to upload from that until I get home.

I keep hearing different terms like RSS feeds, podcasts and stuff like that. Is that what I need to do live broadcasts from South America? I know I can upload to Youtube but this is a special trip and I want the reportage to be special.

There's Camstreams which allows live feed if you have a camera plugged into a computer, with internet... however, for something pre-recorded, I only kow of Youtube to be the best.

I will be using public internet cafes while on the road so no live cams. I've heard of blogging sites but never used one before but they don't seem to have video uploads, just pics. I would prefer to have everything together on one site than linking to Youtube and Photobucket.

Not sure tiki... i have a blog... and i can usually add the UrL link to it for the movies to watch. but it usually comes from another site, like youtube. or photobucket. i think honestly those are the easiest and free. Or you can probably pay for a site to do that.

here is a cool weblog i have been following for quite awhile. you might gain some insight from him and his travels. he is extremely explicit on things like that.
