Not getting email notifications

I have a problem which I can't figure out. When I suscribe to a thread, I don't get email notifications when there are new posts. I double checked in the options of user cp, and it is set on 'instant email notification' for suscribed threads. So why do I not get those emails? And they are not going in my spam either. The problem is that since I come on the forum occasionally, I don't think to come back every day to check for responses to my questions.

Are you sure that BirdBoard e-mail is not blocked??? You might want to add it to your safe list.
