Thanks for the reply, Abby. Don't know why you removed my original post.
Please don't take offense. I'm a Mod and Admin for several sites so I know what it's like. Back to my question. Let's take an obvious example from Bird Board Discussion: Desktop playstand I made. This thread, IMHO, belongs in the Do It Your Self forum. If I was inclined to only check out specific forums rather than all new threads, I would miss this very interesting post. Considering that there's 17 Mods listed, I would think this is simple process to administer. What am I missing? JohnNJ |

Just because we haven't moved 1 thread that may or may not be in an inappropriate area, certainly doesn't mean we are slacking on our duties. We are not here to micro-manage ever little thing that goes on. If a thread is misplaced, oops. Just because it isn't 'filed' in the right area doesn't mean its any less beneficial to the members here.
We've had a lot of crap going down lately and quite frankly I'm getting sick of coming home after work to read stuff like this. The entire team here is on a volunteer basis, and if they weren't willing to put up with stuff like this and spend hours and hours of effort making this place run- there wouldn't be a birdboard. Its simple as that. So take it or leave it.
