Lagging?
At some times of the day, the board becomes very slow, and posting messeges either doesn't work, or DOES work but only because you've hit 'post' TWICE to make it work and two posts come up
Is this just a 'amount of people online' issue?

I have noticed it happens everyday at about 5pm Aussie Eastern Standard Time, although it has happened earlier or later. It's really annoying!
Lately the board hasn't been loading either. It always happens in the afternoon when I'm most likely to be on! Safari tells me that it's a database error.

At around 10:30-11:30 the site performs nightly backups of all data, databases, etc... I have been looking deeper into it and seeing if we can make it less intrusive on its effect on the live site during these processes.

Can it be done at different hours each day, or swap around once a week? There aren't many US peoples on at that time, but that's when the Aussies love to take over!!! :D
