Emerald Forest

If anyone ever gets a chance to come down this way (San Diego area) this place is one that you have to see.
It is by appointment only but well worth the trip.

Thanks for the link!

I'm hoping to get out to Huntington Beach, CA in 2006 to visit a dear friend who relocated there. I'm doing so under the condition that I get to visit San Diego as well... I MUST see the pandas at the zoo. This might be something else to inquire about!

Hee hee hee

I loved reading about the toucanets and aracaris. They are so charming... and a bit more affordable.

A member of an LJ forum I visit has been sharing some stories about living w/ 2 toucans. I can't recall the species but they are just beautiful!
