Under the Sea!

I belong to a group on yahoo that all they talk about is bird toy making among some other things. I need to start showing somemore, but here's one that really caught my eye. It's incredibly simple to make, yet it looks like a LOT of fun!

All you need is a wiffle ball, paulie rope, finger traps, beads, wooden spools and a baby rattle.

Here's another one. I love the toys that she makes! I've tried quite a few and the fids just love them! Oh, those bendy things are straws. Here's what it looks like without them:

Great job Dominique! Love the one with the straws. Did you cut the straws in any way or just leave them the way they were? (I've seen some toys where people take straws and cut them in a way they look like curly cues, but don't know how they do it.) The only bad thing I have to say is about your thread title - now I've got "Little Mermaid" songs stuck in my head!! LOL

Hi,a member on here told me to use a hand pencil sharpener on my straws and it came out good and curly too. When I got it right I had ran out of straws, but I will make another one and make it fuller. Her are some pic's of it.

LOL, I havn't made mine yet :) These are examples from a friend. But, I'm trying! I heard you can get them curly by pulling them over the edge of scissors.
