To kristy29, thanks for the info on the Atom ball. I just ordered a sisal(?) rope ball from the Perch Store in NC and this is also very good! I will go to Home Depot and buy everything over the weekend and make my own. Yours is especially good because it is the size that I need for lovebirds. Not too big like the Hoopball. Terrific!!

Kristy I just got the stuff bought today to make one. Do you think it could be made a tad bigger, maybe 7" for a Cockatiel? It's so hard to judge size by a picture.

If you go looking for this tubing ask for pex tubing. Its what is used in radiant heat floors. Great idea btw, and it sounds so easy! Thanks for sharing
