The toy I'm attempting to show that I made and have made many of is the one in the front with the beads and the wooden pieces. She chews on the wood all the time and when she snaps the hemp twine the beads fall to the bottom of her cage. I wash the wooden pieces and reuse if she hasn't chewed thru them. The beads i toss. But her favorite toy is bell and a set of plastic bell balls. But she chews on this wood pretty good and I buy it in the art dept of wal-mart and have gotten natural wood w/o the color from the hamster section of a pet store. It's nothing fancy but it does the job!

I stick shredded paper in whiffle balls, and then a single nut inside, and the birds love foraging for that one treat! Keeps Cheyenne occupied for about 5 minutes, Oscar for 15 (it takes him longer to destroy it)

What do you use to paint that mask? Or did you buy it pre-painted?

here is a double swing I made for my conure last night... I used to thick strips of fleece to string the branches and the beads and stuff.... hopefully my new nanday conure will like it. I usally make toys for sugar gliders so making toys for parrots isn't too diffrent.
