Safe toys?

I'm not much of a diy person, so I've been buying Lola toys from the local pet places. Since it's a relatively small town...needless to say, the toys stink. I've have seen the colored chewable wood pieces in the small furry animal isle. Are those safe? They seem to be made out of the same material as the bird chewable wood, but they aren't labeled for birds. I just don't want to take a chance and give her something I shouldn't without checking into it. Thanks for all of your help!!

Those should be fine, if its safe for a puppy, or hamster, it should be ok for birds. just avoid things with dangling string, or thread, they can get it wraped around a foot, and cut off circulation, or become traped and starve, or chew their foot off to get away.
