anoher foraging toy
i take a small ball with lots of little holes and stuff in it. sorta like a wiffle ball, and i stuff it full of millet. i have finches and keets so they need little seeds. and i hang it in the cage or you can just throw it on the floor. for my keets, i hang it from the top of their cage along with a bell and some beads hanging from it. they love trying to pull the seeds out of the ball. for use with larger birds, use a larger ball and use treats that you birds like. i have used peanuts and sunflower seeds for my lovebird. cockatoos and macaws could use large sunflower seeds, peanuts, grapes, etc. anything goes and the bell on the end makes it even more fun for the bird!!
