Yes.
Hot glue is safe when dried, but its best for them not to ingest it... so keeping it out of their reach is great. (my local zoo sells seed sticks for the bird room... Popsicle sticks, hot glue, and bird seed) Just use the hot glue gun outside or far away from fids in a well ventilated place as a precaution.
