Roaming Yellow Nape

Anybody have any suggestions on how I can keep my bird from roaming off her playstand? I would like to keep her out of her cage more but she roams.

I think no matter what you try your bird will roam out of curiosity.I'm going through the same thing but it's a losing battle.

I have to make sure that Cleo has plenty of fresh toys on her's or she will roam as well. She can take a plastic bottle with a grape in it and play for hours. Or a dixie papercup with a pnut.. Whatever..
Parrots are curious creatures. Give em something to be curious about on their stand.
Make sure there is not something they are going after specifically. Food, toys they might see they want. Or a furniture edge. LOL.
Also, make sure the parrot get's exercised sufficiently.
Hope this helps.

I have a male yellow nape and a female yellow nape. The male will stay on his stand all day if I would leave him..but I carry him from the top of his cage, then to his stand...and so forth...NOw the female...she roams ...and roams...and searches for things to get into..and to chew. LOL..maybe its a female thing on the yellow napes Hehehe
